Duck Push 2022 - Clongowes

The Clongowes Duck Push 2022 is the continuation of a 28-year long tradition of fundraising by the Transition Year students at Clongowes. The boys aim to raise funds for Crumlin Children's Hospital in the spirit of 'Kids Helping Kids.'

 

Over the years, the Duck Push has raised over €2.2 million, enabling the purchase of vital medical equipment to help treat Ireland's sick children.

 

All funds raised here will be transferred automatically to the Children's Health Foundation Crumlin.

How it Works


Throughout their TY year, students work together to organise fundraising events such as:
- The Clongowes Duck Push Golf Classic
- The Duck Push 5km Run
- The Bumper Duck Push Raffle
- A 24 hour swim

Students also run mini-companies to raise funds:
- Christmas baubles 
- Clongowes clothing
- The Online Duck Push Shop

The Duck Push itself will take place 9th to 17th June 2022 and will see a huge yellow duck being pushed from the Children's Hospital in Dublin to Limerick city.    The TY students will be collecting in towns and villages along the route!
