Duckie needs further medical care

Hi, my name is Alex and fundraising for my recently adopted Rottie named Duckie.

Duckie arrived to SEAACA, an animal shelter in Downey CA, as a lost dog on November 7th. He’s was the star of his row of kennels! He was the only Rottweiler in the entire shelter… and still no one wanted him ☹️.

I 1st learned about him on a social media post the morning of 12/9/23. He needed a committed owner by that day @ 2pm. Around 1:45pm my heart couldn't bear it and I made the call to adopt him. He is great with other dogs, he’s playful, smart, and so goofy! He’s only 3 years old, soft as can be, and the white fur around his eyes couldn’t make him anymore unique.

He loves being outside. He runs around, takes treats… and little by little he showed all of the cards he has up his sleeves! He can sit, down, shake, stay, and… speak He is gentle, he is affectionate. He is such the perfect pup.

Shelter notes:

70 lbs., 3 yrs., male, able to pet and handle, bilateral ear margin areas of alopecia and scabbing, white fur around both eyes and at prepuce opening, on second treatment for kennel cough, needs further medical care.
