Recovering from the loss of our son

Donation protected
Yesterday was one of the most traumatic experiences to have ever happened to us. I never thought we would lose a child (our first and only son Jaxon Dudley).

To be honest my husband (Kenyon) and I are extremely tired and at our wits-end right now. We really need help.

This entire year has been such a struggle for us. We have been trying to bend over backwards to make things work because we believe in doing the work. We are never the ones to ask for hand-outs because we believe that our faith coupled with our works is what makes things happen. This year we have put dreams on hold, and have not even had the opportunity to leave town just to get away for a few hours because we've dedicated ourselves to working hard. Today we are going out on a limb and asking for some help. We are laying aside all pride...we really need help. Here's a little of what we're facing:

1.) We have had to lay down 3 of our businesses (The Discovery Performing Arts, JBD, and Dudley Non-Emergency Transportation Services, LLC) at this moment because of personal financial and emotional reasons,

2.) We are constantly facing eviction because we have fallen behind in our rent payments,

3.) Kenyon had to  step away from his job earlier this year to continue school at Georgia Perimeter College as he pursues his BA in Marriage and Family Counseling while he helped run our businesses with me. He had to take on the bulk of the work while going to school too because we cannot afford daycare fees which left me with the task of having to watch Reagan (our 1 year old daughter) at home while pregnant with our now deceased son,

4.) Kenyon has been secretly working for Uber and Lyft at nights from 7 pm until about 4 am just to keep trying to make ends meet for us; but now is in the process of grieving the loss of our son with me. Ever since I've known Kenyon he's been a strong black man; and he's done every logical and creative thing to provide for us (his family); but the loss of Jaxon has kind of put him in a place where he needs to stop, grieve, and heal for a moment. He's not in the head space to drive for Uber or Lyft right now.

5.) I am currently grieving right now as well as healing takes place in my body from having to actually go through the birthing process and delivering Jaxon yesterday; and I am not able to actually work at this time either.

6.) We currently have about literally $200 to our name from work Kenyon did last week with Uber and Lyft; and we need help during this stressful time.

We pray that at this time you would find it in your heart to give something. Even if it's just a few dollars to contribute ($3, $13, $30, $300). I promise you that anything at this time would be enough. We're trusting that the God my husband preaches about, the God he sings about, and the God that I dance for and witness about will prove his word to be true. The word simply says, "Ask and it shall be given...give and it shall be given unto you good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over."

We would love your help and support. Here's some things that your contribution will go toward:

1.) Rent payments to make us current, and able to stay in our home

2.) My Real Estate School fees. (I've decided since I'm not pregnant anymore to re-focus and go back to school. I need something to keep my mind and that will help my family financially get stable),

3.) Reagan's 1st Birthday party that's on this Sunday, November 8th,

4.) Business debts and loans that we've acquired because we have had to cease all operations at this time,

5.) And miscellaneous things that we might need at this time while we get through this tough time of grief and trying to understand where God has us and where he wants us to go from here. (Food, Pampers, clothing)

Kenyon and I thank you all in advance for your love, your phone calls, support, prayers, and your contributions. We love you and pray that God would bless you and your house tremendously even if you're not in a predicament to give at this time.
