Duffy Family Fire
Donation protected
Early this morning, February 19th, 2019, the Duffy family's home and family were destroyed by a fire. Konner Duffy is in the hospital and we are awaiting updates on his status. Kevin Duffy Sr., Kylie Duffy, and Kevin Duffy Jr. did not survive the fire and our family is heartbroken and devastated by this loss. We cannot begin to express the emotional turmoil that has come from one terribly awful and tragic morning. We ask that you please donate what you can to assist with the funeral and hospital expenses as Casey Duffy and her family will be having to burden these costs. Casey Duffy has severe chrohn's disease, with countless surgeries and treatments she is unable to work due to her illness and is now a single parent. These costs alone are hard enough to bear without everything else that has happened today. We thank you for any help you can offer. Please reach out to me, Jillian Newell, if you'd like to send any donations. Please reach out to me via email at [email redacted] for information on where to send donations or contributions.
Update*** we have increased the amount we are asking for to help set up a secure fund for Konner for his future education and expenses. Being a single mom, Casey will have to worry about these things by herself. We want to do anything we can to help ease the stress on her and alleviate the burden of caring for her young son by herself while dealing with her chronic illness and her own grief. We can't thank everyone enough for their continued support and contributions!!
Tammy Reichman-Roeglin has set up an account with Summit Credit Union under the Casey and Konner Duffy Fundraiser. If you'd like to donate outside of GoFundMe, you can stop by any of the local Summit Credit Union branches to donate.
George Paulos is in communication with setting up a Memorial Service and we will update everyone once he has solidified the details.
