Support Amy's Fight Against Cancer

Amy was diagnosed this fall with breast cancer and a cancerous lymph node. In January, she had a biopsy of a lesion on her skull as well. This lesion thankfully came back negative. She doesn't have cancer in her skull, which is some of the best news that she and her family have received in quite a while. She has started chemo and will continue treatments for a while.

This is a very young family. Her son Tripp is in 6th grade, Jayden is in 5th grade, and Matilda is in 3rd grade. Amy has worked several years as a patient representative at the Wayne County Hospital and has helped so many people that have come into the hospital many times to have treatments and scans done for the same thing that she and her family are going through. She has helped these patients day after day and sadly, she is now in that position.

With the treatments Amy is beginning to receive, she is unable to work. The family's double income has been reduced to one. With 3 children, costs of traveling, medical bills, and everyday expenses, the financial worry is starting to grow.
