DUI Gone Wrong but God will Provide!

Hi my name is Jeanine. I am 50 year old proud grandma to 3 beautiful grandchildren and I am a flight attendant. On April 8th, I was heading to work around 4am in the morning and was hit head on by a drunk driver. I am very fortunate to be alive but this has definitely changed my entire life. I fractured my right heel of my foot and now I’m in a wheelchair. I also had bruised ribs, sprained my left arm, lesions in my breast and they found blood clots in both legs and 2 in my lungs and so I am on Eliquis for the next 3 months or until the doctor says I am better which is extremely expensive. Since I am on this medication, my orthopedic surgeon has to wait until I have clearance from my pulmonary doctor to schedule my surgery for my right foot fracture. Because of this accident, I had to remain in hospital for a week and I am in therapy and am left with so many hospital and doctors bills that I cannot pay. The reason I am trying to raise money is to help pay off these unbelievably high bills that I have accumulated while just innocently trying to get to work. I hired a lawyer to represent me for my accident but unfortunately the insurance company will only pay the $25,000 injury amount because that is what the person insured policy covers. My hospital bill alone is over $75,000 and that’s not including the doctors bills and visits. I can’t go to work to help pay these bills or my rent or anything else. Even if I tried to sue the person who hit me, there would still wouldn’t be any guarantee that I would get anything. I found out that the person who hit me was a 22 year old female. This definitely has been a nightmare for me and for my family who has to help care for me. I am appreciative to anyone who is willing and able to help towards my fundraising goal.
