Duke’s Lifesaving Surgery!

Duke came into our lives around a month ago as a rescue and overfilled our hearts with love instantly. He brings so much joy and laughter as he is the goofiest boy you’ve ever laid eyes on with the biggest heart and unconditional love to everyone he meets and I’ve never met someone who didn’t immediately fall in love with him.

In the past two days our rescue baby Duke’s health had taken an unexpected turn for the worst. After visiting countless vets, we took him in to get 3rd opinion and ran multiple tests with nothing showing up in the x-rays. Horrifyingly we found out his stomach and intestines had become severely enlarged and tangled and only has a very short time before it becomes fatal. 

Duke’s surgery and overnight stays at the ER comes at a very large financial expense and it breaks our heart that we need to ask for help to be able to afford it and help our poor baby out. 

This is a very hard time financially for everyone and we just want Duke to be able to have a second chance at life to run on the beach again and sniff flowers on walks like he loves to do.
