Dundee Kilt Walk for Wee Jamie’s Journey
Donation protected
Taking part in the Dundee kilt walk to raise some funds for one of my friend (big Jamie) who’s son (wee Jamie) who has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
Jamie is a 3 year old boy from Dunfermline with a disease called Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). DMD is a muscle wasting disease which affects all muscles in the body including lungs heart and brain. Most children are wheel chair bound between 8-10 years old and would deteriorate infront of your eyes, with the average life expectancy of mid 20s. Jamie’s family are having to raise £60,000 per year to travel to South America for infusions which will hopefully keep Jamie strong. The treatment is three times per year and something wee Jamie and his family will need to continue to do untill there hopefully a cure is found.
Any donations you can give to this cause to help wee Jamie and his family will be greatly appreciated. All donations will go directly to the family to fund the treatment.
Thanks
