Dundrum Special Olympics Sports Club

Dundrum Special Olympics SC is a multi-sports club operating out of Dundrum. We provide sporting opportunities for adults and children with learning disabilities.

Our main emphasis is on football. We currently have just under 100 members across our adults and juniors teams with two adult men's teams competing in the Special Olympics Eastern Region divisions.

To raise some much needed funds for the club, we are organising a football blitz on August 27th 2023 in St. Benildus School, Kilmacud. Registration starts at 930, with the first games kicking off at 10. Entry to the blitz is €10, but any additional donation on top of that would be much appreciated to help us keep the lights on!

The blitz is not only a fundraiser for the club, but also to act as a reminder of the

existence of the Special Olympics organisation and to raise the awareness of

participants to People with Learning Disabilities.
