DUNSMUIR COMMUNITY POOL MURAL
Donation protected
Meet the artist behind the masterpiece. After graduating from Dunsmuir high school, Daniel DeLeon moved to Portland, OR to pursue his passion for the arts. Daniel has showcased his artwork in Hawaii and Portland, represented by Brass Works gallery. His graphic design and paintings have been featured in multiple publications and magazines. Daniel has donated his time and art to many charitable and non-profit organizations.
When the opportunity was presented to him to create and display a piece of history in his home town on a 13 ft x 90 ft wall, he didn’t hesitate, he was honored. Daniel loves his hometown and has always had immense pride in its community. A vision that was created years ago has blossomed into a real-life adventure.
This wall is a big part of the pools history and is seen every day from thousands of people traveling by. It represents our beautiful little town. This mural is going to be an incredible addition to Dunsmuir for many to enjoy for years.
Daniel has put his personal life on hold and has put countless hours into this mural. Daniel is not getting paid for his time or work. He is doing it for the town of Dunsmuir. Many have asked how they could donate to him to help with expenses while completing the mural. While this is not expected, it is greatly appreciated.
