Dupe's British American Drama Academy Fund!

Greetings! I am Oluwamodupe Oloyede, a third-year Theatre Performance scholar at Florida A&M University. I have the great honor of being admitted to the Black British Theatre and Performance program at BADA (British American Drama Academy) in London for the summer 2024 term! As a Nigerian-American actor, dancer, and singer, one of my many goals for developing as an artist is to read more Black playwrights and create a more diverse character arsenal for my performances. I believe and walk in the understanding that Black people, in all our fabulousness, are more than the narrow narratives we often see portrayed on stages and screens. That is why I am so excited to explore more work from writers who have experienced life and write it as we do. Please help me reach this goal in furthering my education and obtaining my goal of diversifying Black storytelling!
