Our foundation planted roots in Jan 2022 on 42 hectares of undeveloped land. The land belongs to all who live there. We are currently in a pioneer phase - living on the land in tents, a little wood house, with a well, toilet and electricity. We are now working to build our community hall for our heart space and provide a place to earn a living by sharing our skills and knowledge about a holistic way of living.
The Sala will be 9x11 meters for around 30 persons to partake in yoga, the arts, rituals, etc. Alike "The Sala" in Casa Kiliku (Durgas Tiger School- Quito, Ecuador) the space will be our container, our safe place to share and find ourselves individually and in community.
The land serves as a permanent home as well as a place for our community to root for periods of time that they choose. To have this centralized space will be essential to the development of the community for years to come.
Funding for this project will provide the supplies necessary to build a 2-story concrete retrofitted building. The bottom floor is formed and will be retrofitted to become a kitchen, bathroom with 3 showers/3 toilets, an extra room, and a large eating room with an outdoor terrace. The top floor will be "The Sala"; meditation, the arts, shamanism etc.
Funding will also provide income to the local community surrounding who will be helping lead and build the project.
Thank you in advance for your support!
