Durkin Family Adoption

Please help us to bring our baby home

We are the Durkin family and we are hoping to adopt.

 

We have been trying to grow our family for almost 3 years. Since the start of our journey, we have spent thousands of dollars and endured repeated heartbreaks in pursuing fertility treatments.  We have tried both IUI and IVF and have suffered three devastating miscarriages.

Despite our setbacks, we keep coming back to how much love we have to give to a child. We are hoping to grow our family through adoption. 

Unfortunately, the barrier we face for adoption is the cost. With fertility treatment, we were
lucky to have some insurance coverage to help with the costs. Even with the coverage, we have
already spent thousands of dollars pursuing our dream of having a child. 

The way the adoption process works, we are not able to bring our baby home until we can cover the fees. 

 It breaks my heart knowing there are
children who need loving homes and knowing we have that love to give, and yet we may not be able to due to the initial costs of the adoption. 

 

We are so thankful for the help of our family and friends. Any little bit helps and goes a long way.
