Durtschi House Fire Fund

EMERGENCY FUNDING NEEDED :: ATTENTION FRIENDS OF ERIC & CASSANDRA DURTSCHI 

Dear friends,
As you know the Durtschi family moved with their 6 kids to Goleta, CA from Traverse Mountain in Lehi, Utah about 2 weeks ago to be close to their relocated business Crio Bru.  
Last night their home burned to the ground during a wild fire.  

Late Friday night they smelled smoke & saw large flames out their kitchen window.  They had minutes to evacuate, without time to even grab shoes for the kids.  There was no advance evacuation notice to warn them.  You can see this above photo of Eric walking thru the remains of their home from this morning's Santa Barbara news & the AP.  The fire is called the Holiday Fire in Goleta, CA (their new town just north of Santa Barbara). All 8 of their family members are physically safe.  

Nothing remains.  They are devastated.  

Renter's insurance was not yet established.  They have no insurance that will cover any part of this gigantic  loss.  They will need funds for immediate items such as clothing, food, and hotel as they look for another home to rent.  Additionally they will next need funds for furniture, kitchen items, bedding, etc. as they rebuild.

I know you will be generous in your help for our dear friends & am thanking you from the bottom of my heart in advance.
