Dustin Menzer and family

Hi. My name is Megan Riley. Our dear friend, Dustin Menzer, went into the hospital for what he thought was going to be a hernia repair. The hernia repair was nothing of sorts. Instead, the doctors found a tumor that had abscessed. They were able to go in and remove what they could at the time. Test results returned to show an aggressive form of cancer called Rhabdomyosarcoma. Because this is in an advanced stage, he has already received a port to start chemotherapy next week. Due to the rarity of this type of cancer in adults, and location of his tumor, he will have to travel to MD Anderson in Houston to undergo another surgery.

The fight is on, y’all and Jesus is still on the throne. We are praying, with so much intent, that Dustin will be healed on this side of heaven! He and his wife have a testimony and this will only add to their story. We are standing together in prayer and faith that Dustin will be fully healed, and that he will continue to be the best husband to his beautiful wife, and dad to his three kids.

While Dustin does have a job, his short term disability will run out. This is going to be a long process and the Menzer family needs our love. I’m asking from the bottom of my heart, that we all come together, not only in prayer and faith, but financially as well. Never once, have I reached out to them and been turned away. Their hearts for helping others is huge and now it’s their turn to receive.
