Dustin Vargo’s Medical Bills

Hi everyone, I’m Hope McAfee, Dustin Vargo’s sister. As most of you know Dustin has been in the ICU for over a week.

In 2019 he was told he had the flu, went home took some medicine and thought he’d be fine. Shortly after he felt like he couldn’t breathe, he was taken to the hospital where his throat had swelled shut, he was on a ventilator for a several days. The doctors really never figured out why that happened.

During one of the tests they had seen his tonsils grew back despite getting them removed when he was a child. So he had to undergo another tonsillectomy, which he had many complications from. The throat swelling episode kept happening. He has been rushed to the hospital 8 times this year alone.

He has been to multiple doctors, specialist, polynologist, allergist. He has had multiple tests done. He has been put on several medications, none of them seem to be helping.

Anyone who knows Dustin knows he works VERY hard for everything he has but with the constant trips to the hospital and this current admission medical bills are coming in on-top of everyday bills as well. He works as an EMT for Munhall and a dispatcher for UPMC he helps the community everyday, it’s time for us to help
