Save Dustin's Eyesight

Donation protected
Dustin is a 4year old terrier mix saved from doggie death row two years ago. Living the first two years with an abusive owner, he is quite the survivor.  When I got him from the shelter he was scared of people, dogs and kids. We have worked very hard togther and he has overcome this challenge. Now we have one more challenge to overcome.

Today we visited a ophthalmologist who diagnosed him with cataracts. I found out that he has lost his vision in his left eye and is losing vision in his right eye. His vision will continue to deteriorate until he has surgery (in both eyes) to correct the problem. If he looses his vision he will not be able to enjoy his favorite past time, agility. He is too young to go the next 10+ years of his life unable to see. He has a great spunky personality. He loves agility, doing tricks, long walks, fetch, frisbee, and playing with other dogs.

I am a college student with very little savings trying to find a way to pay for his surgery so he can have the happiest, healthiest life possible. Besides his vision he is in perfect health. I would hate for something like this to keep him from doing the things he loves. He is such a sweet, caring compassionate boy.
