Dusty's second surgery.

Dusty made it through his first knee surgery (totally making a new knee).

Now he needs to have one more surgery to fix the other knee. It is expensive, but so worth it to relieve this young dog's pain. The Dixon Animal Protection Society rescued him from an awful situation and he will spend the rest of his life with us, being a house dog and loving on his best friend. (Please see the previous fundraiser explanation about his rescue ). He has been crated for over two weeks with 4 short walks a day and handling the confinement quite well. He is with me in my home and his best friend has decided to stay next to him at all times. I know this seems like a lot to spend, but our mission is that no animal should suffer because of lack of funding. He deserves to experience a safe, long, happy, pain free life knowing what it is like to be loved. Any amount would help. It all adds up.
