UPDATE
DATE 08 JUNE 2021
I'm pleased to update that our GoFundMe MOGS for India project, the Milaap COVID-19 Fundraiser for Community of Indian Armed Forces project [https://milaap.org/fundraisers/support-indian-armed-forces-community] and the Y4D Foundation [https://y4d.ngo/] have joined forces to finalise the procurement and shipment of 1 MOGS unit from Australia for handover to the AFMS in India
The Milaap project is an initiative of the alumni of the prestigious Army Institute of Technology, Pune, India. Their extraordinary fundraising effort has helped secure financing for the best part of the procurement/ shipment costs. Y4D is a leading NGO in India, which will be the groundforce executing the handover of the MOGS to the AFMS end-to-end
We continue to raise funds to procure the remaining MOGS units to further enhance the capabilities of the AFMS in combating COVID19 in India
Thanking you all for your generous support. Presenting a quadruplet inspired by your efforts:
Wave after wave an assault so vast,
But hand-in-hand we stand steadfast,
Will perish our enemy no matter how ghast,
For good over evil must always last!

UPDATE
DATE 12 MAY 2021
As a major boost to the MOGS for India project, I am pleased to update that the respected office of the Director General Armed Forces Medical Services (DGAFMS) of India has kindly accepted to takeover the operations of 3 MOGS units for COVID19 relief operations in India
Since these units are designed to be airlifted using military aircraft, they can be taken anywhere within the country within hours by the resources available to the AFMS [Army, Navy, Air Force]. Now with COVID19 spreading in the rural areas [CNN report], such rapid deployment readiness may become critically important. The DGAFMS is centrally coordinating operations and will be able to act most effectively/efficiently maximising the on-ground impact of the MOGS
Accordingly, the total budget is now reduced to AU$185,000 considering all activities in India incl deployment/disposition, operations will be executed by the esteemed AFMS. The objective now is reduced to completing the procurement/retrofitting and shipment to the shores of India from where the AFMS personnel will takeover
OXYGEN SHORTAGE CONTINUES TO TAKE LIVES. Your generous support is greatly appreciated
DATE 08 MAY 2021
The COVID19 oxygen crisis in India is a NIGHTMARE ON REPEAT. Need of the hour is nearly 250% greater oxygen than what’s domestically available
Introducing MOGS:
Military Oxygen Generator System (MOGS) [3 in number] built to be airdropped on the frontline or anywhere in the country as a fully functional ICU oxygen support system. Cumulatively, 2,25,000 litres/day medical oxygen generating capacity; 30 cylinders can be filled in parallel. Plug-and-Play operation. Fully retrofitted for use in India. Full spec sheet here
The Mission:
To Dispatch 3 MOGS Units from Australia to India for Immediate Deployment
Leadership/People:
Mr Ashish Mitra, MS Mechanical Engineering, Stanford University, California, USA; CEO Endoluminal Sciences Pty Ltd, Sydney, Australia [along with the voluntary support of the Endoluminal Sciences Engineering Team]
Status:
MOGS units have been reserved and retrofitted by Ashish Mitra/Endoluminal Sciences (ELS) Team through a common supplier of highly specialized gas/engineering equipment to ELS and the Armed Forces in Australia. The retrofitted units are ready for field deployment in India with the support of local authorities/professionals including the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS), who have come forward and established thousands of hospital beds in critically affected cities
The Plan:
To dispatch 3 retrofitted MOGS units from Australia to India as soon as sufficient funds raised. Retrofitting/Dispatch actioned by Mr Ashish Mitra/ELS Team in Sydney, Australia. Deployment/Disposition on the ground is being coordinated with the office of the Director General Armed Forces Medical Services (DGAFMS), India amongst additional authorities
Use of Funds:
Funds raised will be used to finance full procurement, retrofitting, shipment, deployment/disposition/operational costs of the 3 MOGS units
We invite you to join us in our fight against COVID19!
