Legal Help for Child Custody

Hi guys. My name is Maia and this is my story.

I was in a marriage with a narcissistic abuser for most of my adult life. In April of this year, I finally had the courage to walk away. In June, I made his abuse known publicly and what has transpired since has been nothing short of a nightmare.

I feel that as a punishment for making what he did to me known to his family, his friends, and people he worked with, he is now hitting me in the last place it hurts and trying to take my children.

I have been unemployed all year. I had to walk away from my job to care for my newborn because my ex and i were unable to find daycare. So, while he got to keep his job and his money and hire the best attorneys, I got to keep nothing.

Despite all of this, with the help of my family, I was able to move to a safe environment and leave it all behind me. Except everything that is behind me doesn’t compare to what is ahead of me.

Today is August 8th. I have a custody hearing a week from today in a state I no longer reside in. I have to retain an attorney, book last minute flights/hotels, and God knows what else. Whatever you can donate is so appreciated. And I truly believe that God will multiply it tenfold.
