Please help Lexi

My name is Nicole and I've set up this page to help my parents Allan & Shirley Tracey.

Tragically on 22nd Dec, whilst their dog Lexi was in my care she ran out of my garden (someone left my gate open) onto the road and was hit by a car.

She had to be transferred to a specialist vets near Aberdeen where she spent two weeks (over Xmas and New Year) receiving treatment for a broken leg, and several cuts. They initially thought she would loose her leg but so far with the compression treatment, they are hopeful her leg can be saved.

She got home on 5th January and now has to have her bandages changed twice weekly. Plus extra antibiotics and pain relief.

Today she had to undergo further surgery to repair two tears.

Lexi is insured but the maximum they will pay is £2000. Her bill so far is £6574 and

there are at least another 6 weeks of treatment ahead of her costing £100 each week before they can even consider the operation to repair the fracture.

I know times are hard for everyone just now but any donations at all, no matter how small will go a long way to helping cover Lexi's treatment.
