Philippines Relief Fund

OYFA is collecting donations for The Philippines Relief Fund. All donations go towards those directly affected by Typhoon Rai, which hit in late December 2021.

Because of the typhoon, millions of individuals from the two major regions of the Philippines - Mindanao and Visayas - have been displaced with no power, no communication, and very little water and supplies. Additionally, due to widespread landslides, flooding, and an emergence of waterborne disease, the total known number of injuries and deaths are increasing.

We will continually be accepting donations throughout the semester because of the severity of the typhoon’s effects and the several year long recovery process.

All funds raised will go to Lokal Lab Siargao, a non-profit whose donations will go towards Typhoon Odette (Rai) relief efforts and long term rehabilitation. Any amount will help.
