Dwane Smith Life Celebration & Music Scholarship

My name is Gregory Iron, and I've created this GoFundMe for my father Dwane Smith. It saddens to write that after a lengthy battle with lung, brain, and liver cancer, my dad passed away this past Thursday, December 15th.

Myself and my brothers, Mike Smith & Zach Thomas are absolutely gutted by this loss. The situation with dad had gotten more severe over the last month, as my dad slowly stopped eating food and drinking fluids. Even after he entered the hospital 2 weeks ago and as of Tuesday, hospice care, we thought we'd had more time with him.

This GoFundMe has been created so that we can cover the cost of his cremation and a celebration of life, which will be announced at a later date and we hope to make happen in January of 2023.

I can't put into words how thankful my family is for all of your donations. It's because of your previous contributions via this platform that we were able to get previous surgeries and medicine for our dad, and you kept him with us a little bit longer.
