Help Dwayne with medical bills and expenses

My name is Derek and I started this gofundme for my Step Dad, Dwayne. Dwayne went into the hospital septic. A piece of his prosthetic knee came loose and was causing damage to the knee causing 2 surgeries and a temporary knee so he can walk. Dwayne will have to go through many weeks of therapy, Dr appointments and cannot return to work for approximately 3-4 months.

Dwyane works two jobs as an EMT and is going to be out of work for atleast 3 months. Dwayne and my Mom, will be trying to get by with one income during these times.

Dwayne would do anything for anybody and consistently goes out of his way to help others. If you are able, any donations would be truly appreciated. A simple share and a prayer will do him good, as well. Thank you!

Update

Dwayne was told he could go back to work with spacer and rods in his knee in about 3 months but due to working on an ambulance and his age, the Dr. decided he would have to have a 3rd surgery consisting of a total knee replacement pending no infection. This now pushes his timeline to go back to work possibly 6 months.
