Love For Tanisha & Dennis
Donation protected
Hi everyone, I am Lauren Berkley and am writing this together with my husband, Benn Berkley. I first met Tanisha when I worked on the Neuroscience Unit at St. Mary's Hospital. We instantly became close friends and we soon went on double dates and my husband, Benn, and her fiance, Dennis....we all became very good friends. We got to meet Dennis' spunky, funny, and loving now five-year-old son Elias, whom Tanisha loved very much and considered him as her own. Last December, Dennis and Tanisha welcomed a precious baby boy, Corey, into the world. I will never forget how much fun we had at their baby shower! Tanisha found out that her and Dennis would be expecting this January/February---another boy!!
On the morning of Sunday, January 3, Tanisha went to work and arrived for her shift around 7:30am. Bear with me, as this is very hard to write... Tanisha collapsed at work and went into cardiac arrest. By the grace of God, they were able to save the baby, but Tanisha, despite everyone's best efforts, did not survive. I am so very thankful for all of the nurses, doctors, and staff who worked together to save her precious boy.
Tanisha's middle name was Patrice....and last name Malloy. Dennis decided to name his new son, Patrick Malloy White, born January 3 @ 8am. He weighs 5lbs. 6oz. and is 19 inches long and is doing amazingly well.
Dennis is currently in nursing school to obtain his LPN and is now a single father of 3. I would like to try my best to help raise money for Dennis and his family to help them get through this difficult time. Many items are needed for baby Patrick and any help is greatly appreciated. If you are unable to donate, please keep Dennis' and Tanisha's families and friends in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you all in advance and God Bless You All!
RIP Tanisha. Benn & I love you very much and will make sure your boys know how much you loved them.
