Michael J Trowbridge Funeral

**The Most Recent Update**

It is with heaviest of hearts that I write this. Michael fought long enough for his wife and his children to get to say goodbye and could fight no more. On February 19, 2024, one of the most amazing people that ever lived, has passed on. Michael wrote on his Hirshfields bio “God is First. Family and friends are second. I am third.” – Gale Sayers. This is truly how he lived.

God is greeting him now with open arms and a reciprocated smile.

Thank you all so much for your kindness and generosity, it will not soon be forgotten. Donations are tremendously helpful and will go towards hospital bills as well as Michael's funeral. Thank you, everyone, truly.

Mike had a heart attack Saturday (02/17/24) afternoon and is in critical condition. His wife and children are with him in Minneapolis.

As of now he is on an ECMO machine (cardiopulmonary bypass) and they just added dialysis to remove the toxins that have built up in his blood. They are also monitoring swelling of his brain.

Michael has always been a happy and energetic man, lighting up any room with his contagious smile. He has been a great husband, father, son, friend and brother. Helping whoever he can whenever he can, including strangers with his many years of fostering and adoptions (even including his siblings at times). He's incredibly optimistic always looking at the glass half full. This man has done more for this world and his community than anyone I know. He is devout Christian that has likely prayed for each and every one of us. It is time for us to return the favor.
