Recently our beloved and VERY generous veterinarian Dr. Dwight Hooton was involved in a serious auto accident returning to NM from Pagosa Springs, Co.
His daughter, Blair Cano, writes:
"On the evening of October 21st, Dr. Hooton was involved in a head on collision near Abiquiu while traveling back from Pagosa Springs. He has sustained significant injuries to his legs that will take months to heal from. He is in the care of St Vincent Hospital in Santa Fe". (please send cards!).
"Dr. Hilary Clayton will be taking his calls for a few months."
"Dad can't have visitors right now but is thankful for all of the love from his friends and he will be back up and at it as soon as he can. He needs love and prayers above all else at this time."
Donations are needed to help with ensuing medical bills and the care of his pets and livestock.
