Who Are We?
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization called Project Moonlight out of Encinitas, California. Our team is made up of young Public Safety and Medical Professionals trying to make a difference in communities other than their own.
What We Do
Our mission is to educate essential lifesaving skills to communities abroad that will never have that opportunity. We educate CPR, First Aid, and Ocean Lifesaving, so the end result is saving lives in these communities. We allow first responders to practice their passion abroad through this lifechanging experience which will translate to better serving their communities at home. While serving these communities, we also provide basic medical supplies that these communities can utilize to prevent infection and life-threatening injuries. Lastly we will be educating these communities on the importance/benefits of medicine and healthcare which will encourage them to seek help.
Our Back Story
Some of our founders provided medical clinics to local villages in Costa Rica in 2020. While operating in these clinicals they noticed something surprising. Most people had never seen healthcare in their entire lives! A woman had complained of having severe chest pain over last year, explaining how detrimental it was to her ability to live. She could not play with her kids or even provide for her family due to her pain. Her treatment ended up being something so simple. After basic treatment, she assured us we had completely changed her life. This experience showed us that we could save lives by just educating these communities about the importance of healthcare. These locals could easily prevent simple injuries from turning life threating by just knowing basic first aid!

Our Next Trip
We are traveling to Lombok, Indonesia on May 20th for a month-long mission. We will be traveling to local communities and villages that are impoverished and have little knowledge or access to medicine. Lombok is very much a 3rd world country with very little resources in regards to education in lifesaving skills. Most locals can barely afford the necessary amount of food to provide for their families, therefore us supplying medical supplies holds so much value. Our services and education have the potential to save lives!
HELP US HELP THEM!!
Any amount of donations is greatly appreciated. You are not only helping fund our trips, medical supplies, transportation costs, etc., but you are helping first responders gain experience while saving lives around the world!
