Urgent: Amna and Family need evacuation from Gaza

Dear friends,

My family in Gaza need urgent evacuation.

They have endured endless horrors. In October they were forced to flee their home in northern Gaza, the first area to be bombed and have been homeless on the run for three months now.

They first moved to a family members' home in Rafah, only to have to flee again soon after. They are currently sheltering in a refugee camp near Rafah and will be forced to evacuate soon as there's no food, water, or medical supplies, while the camp is bombed every few days, with planes circling the sky constantly. My cousin, Amna, contracted an epidemic disease that is spreading around and her condition is getting worse every day. The camp is a living nightmare, that they may not survive much longer. There is no safe place in Gaza anymore, if the bombs dont reach them then hunger and diseases will.

Before October they were just starting to plan their lives. Amna had finished her studies in Gaza City and Huda had gotten married this year and was going to finish her degree by the end of the year.

Now Amna needs medical care as soon as possible, or she might not survive. The area they are staying in is experiencing an epidemic without access to doctors or medication. Leaving Gaza to Egypt is their only hope to survive the ongoing genocide by Israel.

We have been trying to get them out of Gaza for a long time, but it is not easy. The Egyptian authorities are demanding $7,000-$9000 for each person without a foreign passport who wants to cross the border. The money raised will be used to help pay the border fees for our immediate family, consisting of my two cousins, Huda's husband and my Aunt, and any additional money will help do the same for our extended family.

Any amount you can give will be a big help and will go directly to their rescue. I really appreciate your kindness and support in this difficult time. If you cannot contribute I simply ask that you share their story in the hopes that it reaches enough people to save them. We have included the most recent family photo they sent us.
