Help Fund Critical Surgery for Better Health

Many of you know I had Lap Band surgery over 10 years ago. The Lap Band has since broken (slipped sideways causing issues). I am needing a revision (remove the Lap Band & do a Gastric Bypass). I was doing really well losing weight, but my cancer treatments caused me to gain a lot of weight back & my health has slowly been declining these past months.

I finally got approved for the surgery, but without having insurance that covers bariatric surgery, I have to pay out of pocket. There is no way I am able to pay for surgery on my own, so as hard as it is to ask for help, that is what I am doing.

I am trying to get this surgery so that I can have the major surgery I need on my intestines. Cancer treatment cause a lot of damage to my intestines & I need to have a few feet of them removed. But the doctor said to safely do the surgery I need to lose a lot of weight. I will have insurance Jan 1st that will cover this surgery but it doesn’t cover weight loss surgery. I need to have this surgery to not only improve my quality of life, but to better my health. To put it simply, I don’t want to die… I appreciate any help & love all of you!
