Iris & Braille eye surgeries

Iris and her equally gorgeous brother Braille came to us as kittens with serious eye issues.  They had been born without upper eyelids and their lashes were constantly rubbing against their corneas, causing painful  inflammation and infection.  

At the Montgomery County SPCA , we pride ourselves on providing vet care for treatable conditions.  Iris and Braille have each had several eye surgeries, which saved their vision and  greatly improved the quality of their lives.  But, even with rescue discounts, these surgeries have been expensive and came at a time when we have significant vet bills for other animals too.  

Please help us with the cost of these eye surgeries so we can help the next Iris & Braille!   

Founded in 1973, the MCSPCA is a 501(c)(3), all-volunteer organization that relies entirely on donations. We embrace the "no-kill" philosophy and our animals are cared for in foster homes until adopted.
