The team from Dylan Bradshaw Salon Dublin have decided that while we remain closed under the current government guidelines, we would like to raise money for some great causes.
For the month of March 2021, the team have committed to walking/ running/ cycling/ swimming 100km each. We are using My Virtual Mission to track our teams progress here
We are supporting two very worthy charities who have also been heavily impacted by the Covid-19 Pandemic, The Gary Kelly Cancer Support Centre and The Make-A-Wish Children's Charity
The Gary Kelly Cancer is a support centre for people living with cancer, their families and those who care for them. The centre offers holistic and complementary therapies, education and psychological support which is nowadays regarded as part of standard support for people with cancer. The centre is open to people on the island of Ireland. All therapies and supports are free of charge. The mission of the Gary Kelly Cancer Support Centre is to preserve the dignity and privacy of the person at all times.
Make A Wish Ireland has one simple aim – to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions, to bring hope, strength and happiness.
Since 1992, Make-A-Wish has granted wishes for more than 2,600 brave children across Ireland, including 181 wishes granted in 2019 alone. A wish granted is true magic for the child, providing respite from their normal routines of hospitals, doctors and treatment. Make-A-Wish does not receive any government funding, and relies overwhelmingly on the kindness of the Irish public to continue granting wishes.
