Please come together to help support the Harms family as they prepare to celebrate the life of their precious son, Dylan.

Dylan Harms was rushed to Loyola hospital on Wednesday, May 12th from a skateboarding accident. He had multiple skull fractures and later brain damage which ultimately ended his life on Thursday, May 13th.

He was so beloved by all who knew him and his loss weighs heavy on his family's hearts.

Dylan was a son, brother, grandson, and an uncle to be. He was a kind soul who always had love in his heart for others and wanted to help people. Just recently he wanted to go through with schooling to become an EMT and volunteer firefighter. He said he wanted a job where helping people was the main focus because he didn't think a job where he wasn't helping others would ever be fufilling.

He was a young man with many passions, pursuits, and talents. He loved music, art, drawing, tattoo culture, creative writing, photography, nature, and animals. Everything he was good at he taught himself how to do, such as playing his instruments to mastering the rubix cube. He was vibrant in nature and appearance alike and he loved to go against the grain in more ways than one. Everything from his outward appearance to bending rules to fit his style. He believed people spent too much time trying to fit into a mold when he thought they should stop doing that and start being their own personal selves.

Everything about Dylan and his legacy have truly touched the lives of many. It will leave a gap in so many peoples lives but he lives on in photographs, memories, and others physically and non physically. His family made the decision to give the gift of life to others through his tragic loss and because of it five others get a new chance at life. Knowing the man Dylan was becoming the family believed there would be no better way to honor him than doing so and believed he would be proud of their decision. Everyone who knew him loves him so much and both financial support as well as spiritual support would be much appreciated. God bless. ❤️
