Dylan Martin - Dubai CrossFit Championship

Hello, my name is Dylan Martin. I am a Cedar Rapids, Iowa native and I have been lucky enough to qualify for one of CrossFit’s biggest competitions ever - Dubai CrossFit Championships.

My goal over the last few years has been to qualify for The CrossFit Games (in Madison, Wisconsin). This past year CrossFit changed the qualification process to Sanctionals. Which means the athlete’s process of getting to the Games has gotten harder and more expensive to make happen.

Dubai Championships brings together the top 30 Men/Women Worldwide (of over 100,000) for a chance to showcase their talent. I worked my butt off year in and year out for opportunities like this, while still fulfilling my full time job amongst other things.

While most of the other athletes have sponsors like Nike, Reebok, etc to back them and their financial needs, I haven’t been able to secure a sponsor of that caliber, yet! Which is why I am asking for assistance to help make this dream come to fruition.

The competition is December 11-14th and I will post a link to follow the live broadcast!
