The 2022 Tournament of Roses® Parade, beginning the morning of New Year’s Day, is themed “DREAM. BELIEVE. ACHIEVE.” For Dylan Mulligan, this theme rings very true with his own passion for performance and music. As a Junior at Keller High School, he has been selected by Music for All to be a member of the Bands of America Honor Band, and in December, Dylan will leave his community of Keller, TX in preparation to embark on a 5.5-mile parade route, which will be televised worldwide. Along with magnificent floral floats, spirited marching bands, and talented equestrian units, the BOA Honor Band will march down Pasadena, California's famed Colorado Boulevard to be part of the traditional, two-hour spectacle that is the Tournament of Roses Parade.

“To be selected for this opportunity is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for students, and a testimony to their excellence and achievements,” says director Richard Saucedo. “The Rose Parade® is one of our country’s national pageantry treasures. The 2022 Honor Band members are ambassadors of America’s scholastic music and arts programs, as well as their schools and communities. Congratulations to Dylan on this fantastic accomplishment and recognition.”

Dylan was selected from applicants across the United States for membership in this prestigious national honor band. Dylan plays the alto saxophone in the Keller H.S. (TX) Marching Band, and is the child of Francis and Larissa Mulligan. His band director is Mark McGahey.

Unfortunately, trips like these are expensive, and this student will need a lot of help from people in his community in order to participate. Please help Dylan to represent Keller in the parade this coming New Year!
