Dylan & Lauren Hapeman Barn Fire
Donation protected
A devastating fire destroyed the High Ridge Farm barn on the evening of Dec 29. Young farmer Dylan Hapeman (age 21) lost his barn, his equipment and - worst of all - his 40 cows, 10 cats, and 2 dogs.
This is a huge set back for a young farmer who has poured himself into this farm. It is difficult to even consider losing so many animals at once and in this horrible way, and yet, this is Dylan's heartbreaking reality.
Talking to a friend, Dylan noted that "somehow, a barn and equipment can be replaced. But not the friends inside that barn."
AFTER THE FIRE
HAPPIER DAYS
Farmer Dylan Hapeman with a young friend
Dylan has always wanted to be a farmer. His love of the land and his animal friends has been a focus for all he does. He has steadily pursued his dream of farming, pouring himself into this hard work and life.
Whether out on the tractor or caring for his cows, Dylan is what the future needs: dedicated, intelligent, thoughtful, kind and compassionate farmers.
Please help Dylan and his wife Lauren as they rebuild their dreams. 2018 begins with heavy hearts and so much loss for these 2 young farmers. Every donation helps them move through this tragedy.
Thank you.
