Dylon Powley Memorial Fundraising
Donation protected
Hello all. My name is Brandy. My husband and I are lucky to say that we were blessed to have known Dylon and count him as one of our family.
June 20, 2024 will forever be a day the world lost that amazing young man. For Angela and Craig Powley, they lost their beloved oldest son far too soon. His absence has left a void in our hearts and community. However, we are determined to honour his memory in a way that reflects his passions and values.
Dylon was someone who gave his all in everything he did, weather it was playing soccer, coaching, running PK Goalkeeper Academy, reffing, working to complete his CPO Induction Program, or doing his work as a peace officer. He worked had to be the best at everything he did and it shone through. In the short time he blessed this earth he was able to accomplish so much.
More importantly, Dylon was an amazing human being. He made sure people felt seen and heard, whether you were family, a friend, a player, a teammate, a competitor, or a fan. His personality was infectious, and he wore his heart on his sleeve. Words do not do justice as to the person Dylon was.
Dylon will be missed by so many people. Most especially his mom, Angela, and dad, Craig. They were his biggest fans, his loudest supporters, and the best parents.
Many know that the death of his beloved brother Nic lit a spark in Dylon to bring light to mental health. He was a passionate advocate, helping raise awareness and funding so other families had the resources to help loved ones in need of this silent enemy.
With permission from Angela and Craig, we have started this GoFundMe to continue Dylon’s work raising money for mental health foundations in his name. Funds raised will be split between three charities; Wounded Warriors Canada, Valor Place, and Triple Kick.
Your support would mean a great deal to us by contributing to this cause. You not only honor Dylon's legacy but also make a meaningful impact in the lives of those struggling with Mental Health issues. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to fulfilling his vision of a compassionate and supportive community and preventing tragedies from happening to families and loved ones.
We love you Dylon.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Friends and family of Dylon
