She is now in CVICU

Update-
October 19,2023
Paisley got an updated PELD score of 37 today. She should get a liver offer any time now :)

Update-
October 13,2023
Paisley is still in the hospital from admission on the 19 of September.
Turns out I,her mother, am unable to donate at this time. So we have to wait for an organ to come available via deceased donor.

Update-
Sept 19, 2023 Paisley was admitted into the hospital at Lucile Packard Stanford last night. She had some labs done and the doctors didn’t like her sodium levels and I noticed her WBC was elevated more than usual as well.
The team needs to adjust her meds and in order to do so, they need her admitted.

Update-
As of Aug 25 Paisley has been selected as a candidate for transplant. Our next step is waiting for authorization from insurance to get her listed.
She also has to wear a remote cardio monitor for 2wks

Paisley Sage Blevins was born via C-section March 20, 2023. She was a seemingly healthy, happy beautiful baby girl who has added, to Ashley and Drew's little family, so much joy!

Once home she started to exhibit issues with her liver and jaundice. Doctors monitored her closely in hopes that it would resolve on its own. Unfortunately, it did not resolve on its own and she was sent up to OHSU Doernbecher's Children's Hospital June 1st. On June 2nd, she had a cholangiogram which diagnosed her with Biliary Atresia.
Doctors decided to perform surgery, on June 5th, in hopes of perserving her liver function. After two weeks in the hospital, she was discharged on June 13th.

She was readmitted July 6-9 when her belly began to swell and become irritable; she was refusing any fortified bottles since July 2nd and dropping weight fast.
After meeting with specialists in GI and the Liver Transplant team from Stanford Medical, it became clear she wasn’t getting the nutrients she needed and lost 4.5oz of weight in just 2 days so she was admitted again, July 12th. It took us 9days to find a feeding regimen that her body could tolerate but also a regimen that gave her the calories she needed.

While admitted on Monday, July 17th, she started developing potential heart complications. She has had 2 ECG's and was put on a portable monitor to gather more information for the cardio team. After 3 days of monitoring she has a type 1 block and while sleeping she has a type 2 block.

She will be going to Stanford for her initial evaluation appointment, August 19-26. She is being told it could be about 2-3 months before it's transplant time and then at least 3 months post op and it could be upwards of 6 months recovery down in California.

Little Miss Paisley is a fighter and her family is by her side every step of the way. But the financial burden for the months past and the months to come, expenses keep growing and any help would be greatly appreciated!

Paisley has her own bank account at our local Rogue Credit Union, her mom has Venmo @MrsBlevins721
