What is
Los Angeles has become a mecca for creativity and talent whether it’s art, music, fashion, hair or more. Owner, Donna Dyson, has been a hair stylist with her salon in the Miracle Mile for 30 years, and has been in her current location for 19 years. During those years, Donna has always featured artwork, owned a jazz house, put on fashion/ hair shows and ran her very own magazine for 11 years featuring actors, musicians, artists and more. Over the last 4 years, Donna added a gallery into her salon to create what is known today as Dysonna City Art Gallery.

Now it’s time for Dysonna City Art Gallery and Hair Studio to expand and find a bigger space where we can give more opportunities to those who want to further branch themselves out. With our motto, “A Creative Place for New & Unique Artists”, Dysonna focuses on providing space for those that want to pursue their passions. Over these last few years, Dysonna has put on a variety of events from art exhibitions, paint classes, poetry readings, art workshops, concerts, hair shows and even a yearly jazz blast for the last 3 years!

Time For New Horizons…

We are ready to spread our wings and with your donations, we can hope to develop more artists of all varities. Our vision is to locate a bigger venue that can help up further showcase more artists, house more up & coming hairstylists, and create more community events. That is why we need your help!

With a bigger space, we will be able to house more creative minds and feature different types of art throughout the year! A place where an artist can feature their art, a designer can sell their clothes, stylists can make others feel beautiful, or even just being able to have a place to let your inner creativity loose.

The community is also an important factor to us. That's why we design events around the community such as paint classes/workshops, music/open mic nights, classes for children, and inspiring creativity to everyone we meet. This space is not only for us, but for all of you out there and all of you that believe in spreading love and joy through creation. That to us, is the most important part of this journey.

What's To Come

With this new space, we will be able to feature more art to really expose those that don't always have a chance to showcase their art. We can also host more events with other types of art such as music, poetry, acting, hair and all that is artistic and creative!
