Dysphoria be gone! Help Addy with surgery costs

Hiya, I'm Addy, a transwoman living in the UK.

I need to raise funds for Facial Feminisation Surgery (FFS) as aspects of my face are my biggest barriers and causes of dysphoria and distress.

Whilst I have been so much happier discovering and coming to understand and accept myself since starting my transition, there are some things that HRT cannot undo unfortunately.

After many years of waitlists, I am finally with an NHS Gender Identity Clinic (and continue to be on the waitlist for GRS), but many aspects of gender affirmative care are not available with the NHS. So to have access to this surgery, I am having to go privately and travel abroad.

So far I've had to pay privately for a Gender Dysphoria assessment (they make us jump through a lot of hoops here in the UK); seeing a private endocrinologist; hair removal etc... as these a not covered by the NHS without years long waiting times.

I've saved up for a long time to raise the funds for much of my gender related medical care. I've saved up around £10k myself so far, but the cost of the surgeries I need is well above my means and can sometimes feel to be an impossible goal. I'm going to continue to work and save towards this but I'm asking for support from the community and any kind souls who wish to help. The money raised would go directly towards paying for the cost of the surgeries themselves as well as the accommodation cost and time needed for recovery.
