Jennifer's cancer journey

Hi everyone,
On April 7th, 2023 I went in for surgery, for what I was told was a 11cm fibroid. My symptoms got worse after the surgery and I knew there was something else wrong, so I found a new gynecologist. She did a biopsy and found that my fibroid was actually an 11cm tumor, stage 3 cervical cancer.
On May 10th, I started the first of five chemo treatments, as well as the first of 25 radiation sessions. On July 25th, I had surgery to remove the tumor, as well as a full hysterectomy. I am currently on medical leave for 6-8 weeks. The last four months, have been draining emotionally, mentally, and physically, but also financially. I honestly didn't want it to come down to making one of these, but insurance only covers so much and being on unpaid leave doesn't help.
Cancer is definitely something you never think could happen, until it does and your world gets flipped upside down! I'm not asking for much just enough to help me stay on my feet until my doctor gives the okay to go back to work. I will say that I am thankful my job worked with my schedule while I was unergoing treatments and doctors appointments. I still have a few more radiation sessions left once I'm healed from surgery, (they did get 99.9% of the cancer). If you can help out in anyway big or small, I would really appreciate it.
