Valentine’s Day Fundraiser for the Food Bank

Tax deductible
Prior to the pandemic, 14% of the population of Wake County was considered “food insecure.” Across North Carolina, the number of food insecure families has only increased, and food banks are experiencing explosive demand as the pandemic continues. It is estimated that over 100,000 children living in the Raleigh area are currently facing hunger.

The Rainbow Rollers, our little Boylan pre-school/kindergarten pod school, would like to do something about that. In conjunction with a lesson on family food insecurity, we are collecting donations to the Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC. For those that are local, in exchange for your donation of $20 or more, you will receive a surprise Valentine’s Day gift on your porch from the Rainbow Rollers classroom.
