Sally Needs Our Help

Our friend Sally has had a difficult road. Born with Cystic Fibrosis, she has fought countless life-threatening situations in her 56 years, including a double lung transplant in 2012. In addition to trying to manage the daily struggles of living alone, Sally deals with ongoing CF & post-transplant issues, high blood pressure, heart palpitations, insulin-dependent diabetes, ongoing bouts of skin cancer and other medication-related side effects, and struggles with anxiety/depression. Despite all of this, with amazing strength and resilience, she decided to forge a new life for herself last year, moving out of a very stressful and difficult living situation to a new state, alone, and with very little help or support. She has been too proud to ask for help, but the reality of living with a disabling disease and no regular income or family support is settling in. Without our help, Sally will be homeless as of December 31st. If you are able, please donate what you can to help Sally buy some time and find a new living situation.
