Lahaina fire relief fund- Carino & Alambra Family

My name is Jessica Carino Morreira.

I never in my life did I think I would need to turn to this but this is my last resort and only way to help my Carino/Alambra family who was one of the many families back home in Lahaina that lost everything in a matter of seconds due to the Lahaina wild fires. This home you see in the picture…. that is no longer a home. That home that is now burnt  to the ground is where I grew up most of life. Where I raised my 4 year old daughter most of her life before moving up here in North Carolina to be with my Husband who’s currently serving.  

I’m emotionally struggling and hurting to be all the way here in North Carolina and not be able to to do anything for my family. Feeling so much guilt from being apart from them. Worrying about where they’re going to go, how are they going live for the time being. If I could fly there I would be there with them right now in a heart beat. 

It hurts to see everything that my parents and grandparents have done. Being a 4th generation from the Philippines. All the hard work and sacrifice that has been made just burn to ashes. Watching their worlds just turn upside down in a matter of seconds.
