As most of you know, Chris was diagnosed with cancer when he was 16. Chris underwent many chemo treatments throughout his teen years, but they were never able to remove the tumor from his brain due to its location.
For 22 years, God blessed Chris with minimal health issues.
In January 2019, Chris started having symptoms that could not be ignored. After two MRIs, his team at Emory determined the tumor had begun to grow again.
In August 2020, Chris had brain surgery so that the doctors could biopsy the tumor. The biopsy results showed that Chris has a rare cancer, Adenocarcinoma, never seen or treated at Emory.
In September 2020, Chris underwent extensive radiation. Chris only completed five of his six weeks of radiation. Since September 2020, Chris has been bedridden while his wife, Lindsay, has taken care of him, their children & finished nursing school.
Today, March 28th, 2022, Chris has been admitted to Hospice. Due to his condition, Chris was not eligible for life insurance. Medical bills have accumulated, funds for a funeral will be needed, and the list goes on.
On behalf of The Berry Family, I ask that you please give what you can to help lessen the financial hardships that they have & will have going forward.
