1st off thanks to all of you whom having taken the time to text, call or message Meg and Jayson with your thoughts, prayers and assistance to help should we need anything. The outpouring of love and support is just amazing.
Update on Kaiya as of 2pm Sunday:
They have removed the breathing and feeding tube. Her vitals are starting to improve, however we are far from out of the woods yet Kaiya has a long road to recovery and should be in the hospital until sometime towards the end of next week.
Once home again alot of rest and taken it easy.
We are still awaiting more details if they are showing any signs of bacteria still in the bloodstream and watching to make sure that even though the tube is out that she can continue to breath on her own without to much difficulty.
Thats it for now as Meg and I take turns being at the hospital as there criteria during this crisis is to allow only 1 parent with her at a time. United made several exceptions these last couple of days and we are thankful for that.
Jason is cutting back his work hours. Meg is in Pandemic limbo with a great job that is closed til this is over. And they aren't sure how big the medical bills will be.
Any little amount from a lot of people really helps. Even $5 from 300 of us would be $1,500.
*Note, I the organizer have upped to $2,000. Every penny will be a blessing and well spent with so much more going on than even this utter crisis. They are an amazing couples whom I've known since middle school.
