New Wrestling Mat

Recently Wilmot Union High School had a referendum on the ballot and it did not pass. One of the many downsides of this, is we are not able to get money from the high school for a new wrestling mat. We currently have to borrow wrestling mats from other schools and that is costing the team money. We are also unable to host events to make money to support our program. The competition mats that we have are being used for practice as well. We have a new youth program that acts as a feeder into our high school program. The high school head coach and the youth head coach are both Wilmot High School Wrestling alumni! It is great to see them giving back to the community. We are truly creating a bond between the youth and the high school kids which is great for our wrestling family. Our kids deserve to have a new mat and we are asking for help in raising the money.
