Get a family car

Hello we are David and Amber and both of our cars died on us. We work at the same place and have been carpooling with friends for a few months now. Or relying on just my motorcycle. Things have become increasingly difficult as of late. I am unable to pick up my kiddos on my weekends, unless a good friend has the time and offers to help. My hours have been reduced at work and bills are hard to pay. Let alone afford a car. I have a co-worker that is selling a reliable car for 1700, and it would mean everything if we were able to get it. Thank you so much for your help.
