Masjid Tawbah Emergency After Hurricane Ida

Masjid Tawbah is a popular local masjid located in the Bronx, NY!

On Thursday, September 1st 2021, Hurricane Ida swept through the region and has left the masjid in ruins. The lower level is completely and utterly unrecognizable! The upper level also faced many damages. On Friday September 2nd, for the very first time the masjid had to suspend Jumuah prayers.

Masjid Tawbah has struggled financially for a while. The masjid was struggling to pay its debt and stay open for years, they barely have funds to stay open let alone to recover from the damages.

We are pleading to the ummah to help save this house of Allah!! Let’s help rebuild and restore our beautiful masjid! And hopefully raise enough to help cover its debt as well ‼️
