TROOP 161 / STOLEN TRAILER AND GEAR

Hello - I am Brian Shaw, Troop Committee Chair with BSA Troop 161, Indianapolis In.

We discovered on 10/28/2015, that our troop trailer with all of our contents had been stolen! there are no leads to this crime.  Thankfully all local news outlets covered our story.

While insurance will deal with the trailer, we will begin the arduous task of fundraising to replace our gear. The funds raised on this site will directly go towards new camping gear(tents, patrol boxes, lanterns, tools, items too numerous  to list!). The need for these funds are immediate.

Over 35 boys(age 11-17) belong to this troop. They are a great bunch of kids, and we refuse to let this setback stop us from being active Scouts! We will do our best, and anything you can contribute will help us towards getting back on our feet. like anyone, we hate that this crime has only hurt the kids, and they dont understand why someone would do this.
